Lovable-built pages carry a signature the HTTP Archive crawl detects. The crawl found 4,959 such origins in December 2025 and 12,120 in August 2026. Over the same nine crawls it logged 19,732 origins that stopped being detected.
The page signs the tool's name
HTTP Archive's Wappalyzer fork detects Lovable on two things: an author meta tag that reads Lovable and asset links under a /lovable-uploads/ path. Both are defaults that most owners never remove, so the head of the document names the software rather than the person. You can check any page yourself with view-source and a search for lovable.
Twelve thousand origins, and the counting is new
The November 2025 crawl carried the rule and found nothing. December found 4,959 origins and August 2026 found 12,120, with every crawl in between rising except January. The rule landed in the crawler in late 2025 and cannot see anything built before it, so the slope is a floor rather than a measurement of when these sites were made.
Two disappear for every three that arrive
Across the nine crawls the census logged 28,642 origins detected for the first time and 19,732 that stopped being detected. The disappearance rate has held since March at 26 to 33 percent of the previous crawl's origins, an average of 31.3 percent a month. A one-off detector change would show up as a single spike rather than a floor the number keeps returning to.
Wix loses fifteen percent, Webflow loses eleven
Of the 1,060 technologies the crawl detects on at least 5,000 origins, the median loses 10.5 percent of them per crawl. Framer Sites loses 17.0 percent, Wix 15.1 and Webflow 10.9. Lovable loses 31.3 percent, which ranks seventh of 1,060.
Nothing else grows this fast and leaves this fast
The six technologies losing origins faster than Lovable are mostly shrinking widgets: an ad pixel, a hit counter and AMP among them. Only twenty of the 1,060 grew by half or more over six months and only three of those lose a quarter of their origins per crawl. The other site builders at this scale are flat or shrinking, and the next fastest grew nine percent while Lovable doubled.
The other AI builder loses origins faster
Emergent is the only other AI builder the crawl finds in quantity: 166 origins in December 2025 and 1,657 in August 2026. It sits below the 5,000-origin bar used above but loses 40.7 percent of its origins per crawl, higher than Lovable in all six months. Base44 is detected on eleven origins and Replit on none, so neither says anything either way.
What the number is not
Gone from the crawl is not the same as gone. HTTP Archive crawls origins listed in the Chrome User Experience Report, so a site that loses its last visitors or moves to a custom domain leaves the census the same way a deleted one does. A population growing this fast is also a young one, and a six-month cross-section cannot separate youth from platform. Of the twenty technologies that grew by half or more, only two besides Lovable lose a quarter of their origins a crawl.
